"Here is an idea for your
SSC in regard to the income tax refund checks that are being sent out this
week.
An auto dealer is perfect for
this, the idea is simple. The dealer matches or doubles the amount of
refund. If the amount is $600.00 then the dealer matches with
$600.00 as a down payment on the car of choice. In some cases the
match could be 2 or 3 times the amount. Since the biggest check is 6
bills that's the most a dealer would have to match."

I had a thought that I wanted
to pass along to you for your weekly Strategic Sales Counseling.
As you know Uncle Sam will soon be mailing out those income tax refund
checks to all of America. The average household check will be
about $460.00. In some areas of the country things are slow and merchants
are crying the blues. The advertising world here in Knoxville is soft,
but based on 450,000 households in the DMA at an average of $460.00 per
household, that adds up to $207 MILLION.
So Mr. Businessman lets take a
look at our market and the amount of money that will be flowing into the
economy in the next 10 weeks. This is a great time to call on local
direct business and tell our story.
